Responsibilities:

Working on a full-time basis, the chosen candidate will primarily be responsible the following duties:

  • Carrying out the duties of a document controller including but not limited to the management of all project documentation, filing and archiving, and ensuring accessibility of specific materials to specific stakeholders;
  • Coordinating effectively with internal team members to deliver and receive coordinated and controlled information and documents, to/from all parties concerned;
  • Managing and ensuring the seamless distribution of technical documents in both electronic and hard-copy formats;
  • Managing requests for documentation;
  • Managing and leading the company’s document control software;
  • Controlling, managing and coordinating all information that’s issued for review, approval, construction, etc. on the projects’ electronic document management system (EDMS);
  • Issuing, registering and coordinating the correct distribution and allocation of all official correspondence and documents between the project team, client, contractors, sub-contractors and authorities as well as between third parties and vendors;
  • Keeping minutes of all meetings held, distributing these in a timely manner

Requirements

  1. You have a proven track record with several years’ experience working in a construction environment and with Document Control delivery of complex and/or large scale projects, including residential, commercial, infrastructural, medical health-care units, luxury hotel projects etc.
  2. You would preferably have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Construction or Project Management. An MRICS/FRICS and/or other recognised Project Management certification would be considered an asset.
  3. You would ideally be cognizant and abreast with all applicable standards, legislations and practices applicable to the construction industry in Malta, having also technical and commercial acumen of infrastructural and  large scale projects;
  4. You are proficient in the use of ASITE as well as Microsoft Office. Knowledge in Primavera and MS Project, BIM, AutoCad, and/or other related project management/design systems would be considered an asset;
  5. You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English;
  6. You are able to work under pressure and to work closely with others in a multidisciplinary environment;

Responsibilities:

Working on a full-time basis, the chosen candidate will primarily be responsible for the following duties:

  • Carrying out the duties of a Senior Architect including but not limited to property valuations, planning consent, design coordination, feasibility studies, architectural specifications and detailing, supervision of works and certification, as well as other administrative matters relating to architecture;
  • Supporting the Senior Partner with managing all project aspects in relation to the Architectural department, including coordinating works with clients, other members of staff and other consultants,
  • Supporting the team and providing the necessary guidance in carrying out their duties related to preparing valuation reports, including market research, area take-offs, assessment of planning data and any necessary site inspections;
  • Reviewing and issuing property valuations, ensuring these are in accordance with company standards, legislations and relevant codes of practices, to ensure a complete and coordinated approach;
  • Estimating costs relating to the properties being valued;
  • Carrying out duties related to the Planning Authority (PA), liaising with the PA and other Authorities and organizations for planning consent and any other necessary permits and clearances, required for applications at the appropriate stages of each project;
  • Supporting the team and reviewing submissions relating to the Planning Authority (PA) and other Authorities;
  • Preparing reports relating to planning procedures and project descriptions;
  • Supporting the team with the production of architectural and technical drawings relating to architectural components;
  • Undertaking and supporting the team with design coordination;
  • Preparing and presenting reports and / or presentation material to clients and stakeholders as necessary;
  • Supporting more junior team members when and as necessary, including any training requirements;

Requirements

  • A recognized architectural degree and/or a recognized professional qualification in this field. A master’s degree in a relevant subject would be considered an asset;
  • A proven track record working for a considerable amount of years in property valuations and planning matters;
  • A local Perit warrant is required;
  • Proven management skills and leadership qualities to lead teams and consultants, and maintain strong client relationships, whilst motivating and inspiring others;
  • A solid understanding in local Planning Authority policies;
  • Highly cognizant and abreast with all applicable standards, legislations and practices applicable to the Construction industry in Malta;

Responsibilities

Working on a full-time basis, the chosen candidate will primarily be responsible for:

  • Carrying out the duties of an Interiors Specification writer at Associate level, including but not limited to the production of Drawings, Graphical representations, Literary explanations, References to other Graphical Representations and Literary explanations, Legends, Indexes and Lists as needed among other ad hoc documents that may be needed from time to time, including in such documents only the intended items and required quantities of work;
  • To instruct manufacturers and suppliers the different types of materials and applications to be used for the various projects handled by the company and how to use the said materials in specific areas. This may include but shall not be limited to the type of material used for flooring and the type and design of handles/ accessories for furniture / case goods etc;
  • To assist project designers with material selection and system research;
  • Filing, organizing samples, preparing sample boards and other similar duties;
  • Keeping abreast of latest trends and technologies in the Industry;

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in interior design, Interior architecture or other construction-related field from an accredited and reputable school;
  • A proven track record working in the Interior fit out industry, preferably having worked on a variety of interiors projects including hospitality, residential and/or commercial projects, among others;
  • Highly cognizant and abreast with all applicable standards, legislations and practices applicable to the construction industry in Malta;
  • A passion for design with an understanding of and experience in integrated interior architecture;
  • The ability to use multiple media (hand sketching through to advanced digital media) to develop, test and communicate design ideas;

Responsibilities

  • Proactively and efficiently managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and assisting with devising contingency plans when and as necessary;
  • Ensuring that all Civil and Structural Engineering aspects of the project are properly managed and controlled;
  • Preparing recommendations for Clients’ approval;
  • Preparing and communicating technical and commercial progress reports to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Analyzing and preparing reports with the necessary calculations about loads, stresses and strains regarding structural components, element sizing and detailing of structural elements;
