    Working on a full-time basis, the chosen candidate will primarily be responsible for property valuations however, s/he will also be expected to assist the architectural team as needed, in the role of the architect. Duties shall therefore include:

    • Preparing valuation reports, including market research and any necessary site inspections;
    • Carrying out the duties of an Architect including but not limited to concept design and feasibility, architectural design, construction drawings and specifications, master planning, design coordination, architectural and landscaping detailing works, supervision of works and certification, property valuations, estimating costs related to the project, choosing materials, creating time schedules as well as other administrative matters relating to architecture;
    • Undertaking works related to the Planning Authority;
    • Defining design and space planning problems, conceptualizing possible solutions and securing approvals of proposals;
    • Preparing reports relating to planning procedures, project descriptions, and architectural components;
    • Supporting with the development and updating of Architectural concepts and project briefs combining aesthetics with practical considerations, and maintaining the integrity of designs through robust change control and project processing techniques from conception to completion, ensuring a seamless document flow in the process;
    • Inspecting and delivering supervision services on project sites for architectural related projects to ensure compliance with contract documents for all architectural components, professional and company standards, health and safety, and codes of practice;
    • Assisting in ensuring project Quality Assurance for architectural components;
    • Producing and assisting the team with the production of architectural and technical drawings relating to architectural components;
    • Preparing regular progress and feasibility reports among others and meeting minutes as required;


    • A recognized architectural degree. A master’s degree in a relevant subject would be considered an asset;
    • Hold a Perit warrant with a minimum of two years’ experience;
    • A proven track record working in property valuations;
    • Possess a solid understanding in local Planning Authority policies;
    • Highly cognizant and abreast with all applicable standards, legislation and practices applicable to the construction industry in Malta;
    • A valid driving license required to carry out property inspections and surveys;
    • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Proficiency in BIM and/or other related design systems would be considered an asset;
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English;
    • Ability to work under pressure and to work closely with others in a multidisciplinary environment;
    • Attention to detail, influencing skills, assertiveness and the ability to understand and express technical concepts accurately with confidence and clarity;
    • Proficient analytical skills and a measured approach to decision-making, being able to take decisions as and when needed in the interest of efficiency;
    • A motivated team player demonstrating an eager and optimistic work ethic;
