    Working on a full-time basis, the chosen candidate will primarily be responsible for:

    • Carrying out the duties of a project manager at partner level including but not limited to planning, scheduling, cost management, project management, and construction management, report writing, and compiling proposal and requirements documentation and presentations;
    • Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents;
    • Supporting with the development and amendments of project management concepts and project briefs, through robust change control and project processing techniques, ensuring a seamless document flow throughout;
    • Monitoring planning, scope, budgets and schedules, while also delivering supervision services on project sites to ensure compliance with contract documents, professional and company standards, health and safety, and codes of practice;
    • Preparing site progress reports as necessary;
    • Assisting with overseeing technical, contractual and administrative aspects of the various projects, as and when needed, to ensure that all Project Management aspects are properly managed and controlled;
    • Ensuring project Quality Assurance confirmed with feedback from clients throughout the lifecycle of projects, implementing the necessary rectifications when needed;
    • Coordinating the services of consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders with the aim of achieving the required results in terms of quality, time and cost. This includes but shall not be limited to organizing, coordinating and following up on snagging and site taking-over procedures, mitigating differences between all parties, as well as ensuring that all parties are following their contractual obligations on matters concerning QA/QC;
    • Assisting with drafting consultants’ and contractors’ contracts;
    • Communicating with cost consultants on a regular basis and giving determinations on variations;
    • Ensuring that cost plans are constantly updated;
    • Ensuring that the master program of the various projects is reviewed, updated and properly tracked and discussed with the team of project managers;
    • Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts as necessary;
    • Managing project expectations and ensuring that all requirements are met and delivered according to plan, from concept to completion;
    • Assisting the Cost Manager with drafting budget proposals to Clients, and recommending subsequent budget adjustments where necessary;
    • Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical paths;
    • Planning, scheduling, tracking and mitigating project timelines and milestones;
    • Compiling tender and contractual documentation, ensuring that all clarifications are forwarded to the bidders, leading to tender selection and appraisal;
    • Collating and preparing adjudication report/s from all consultants and presenting to Clients with recommendations;
    • Compiling status reports and assisting with troubleshooting problem areas;
    • Keeping minutes of all meetings held;
    • Defining project success criteria and disseminating them to all involved parties throughout project life cycles;
    • Undertaking the role of the ‘Engineer’ as defined in FIDIC contracts;
    • Planning the construction process;
    • Compiling and executing procurement strategies and management;


    • You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
    • You have a proven track record with minimum ten years’ experience working in a construction environment and with Project Management delivery of complex and/or large scale projects, including residential, commercial, infrastructural, medical health-care units, luxury hotel projects etc., offering project management services from concept to completion;
    • You would preferably have an MRICS/FRICS and/or other recognised Project Management certification;
    • You are highly cognizant and abreast with all applicable standards, legislations and practices applicable to the construction industry in Malta, having also technical and commercial acumen of infrastructural and  large scale projects;
    • You are proficient in the use of AutoCad, Primavera and/or MS Project, as well as Microsoft Office. Proficiency in BIM and/or other related design systems would be considered an asset;
    • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English;
    • You are able to work under pressure and to work closely with others in a multidisciplinary environment;
    • You have attention to detail, influencing skills, assertiveness and the ability to understand and express technical concepts accurately with confidence and clarity;
    • You are analytical and have a measured approach to decision-making, being able to take decisions as and when needed in the interest of efficiency;
    • You demonstrate resilience, leadership and negotiation skills;
    • You have excellent planning and organisation skills, a high level of integrity and you are a motivated team player demonstrating an eager and positive work ethic;
