• To strengthen QPs expanding operations locally and overseas, we are seeking to recruit a proactive PROJECT MANAGER to join our team in MALTA.

    • Planning, scheduling, project and construction management, report writing and presentations;
    • Managing project expectations and ensuring that all requirements are met and that projects are thus delivered according to plan, from concept to completion;
    • Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devising contingency plans when and as necessary;
    • Ensuring that all Project Management aspects of the various projects, including but not limited to technical, contractual and administrative aspects, are properly managed and controlled;
    • Ensuring project Quality Assurance;
    • Assisting with drafting consultants’ and contractors’ contracts;
    • Ensuring that cost plans are constantly updated and that all relevant information is included;
    • Ensuring that the master program of the various projects is reviewed, updated and properly tracked;
    • Mitigating project risks and managing issues;
    • Ensuring compliance with local, national and international health and safety and construction/industry regulations and standards;
    • Compiling tender and contractual documentation, ensuring that all clarifications are forwarded to the bidders, leading to tender selection and appraisal;
    • Undertaking the role of the ‘Engineer’ as defined in FIDIC contracts;
    • Assisting with planning the construction process;
    • Compiling and executing procurement strategies and management;
    • Inspecting and delivering supervision services on project sites


    • A degree in Construction Project Management or a related field, such as Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering. A master’s degree in a relevant subject would be considered an asset;
    • A proven track record of successfully delivering complex and/or large scale projects, with multi-disciplinary teams from inception to completion, being involved in both pre- and post-contract stages;
    • Robust technical and commercial understanding of local infrastructure and building projects, as well as a solid understanding of FIDIC principles, quality assurance, local regulations and on site safety procedures;
    • Member/Fellowship of RICS (Project Management Route preferred) and/or other recognised Project Management certifications such as PMP from PMI would be considered be an asset;
    • Proficiency in Primavera, Microsoft Projects and Microsoft Office applications or other similar software;
    • Excellent planning and organising skills, high level of integrity and confidentiality and an ability to read and interpret drawings and other related documentation;
    • Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to work closely with others in a multidisciplinary environment;
    • Ability to demonstrate resilience, leadership, effective negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to understand and express technical concepts accurately with confidence and clarity;
    • Proficient analytical skills and a measured approach to decision-making, being able to take decisions as and when needed in the interest of efficiency;
